The Ripon Chamber of Commerce is hosting an E-mail Marketing Seminar Wednesday morning at the Stockton Avenue firehouse with some 15 seats still open to its membership, according to chamber executive director Rebecca Naranjo.

The two-hour seminar is set to begin at 10 a.m. at the fire station located at 142 South Stockton Avenue in downtown Ripon.

Naranjo said the free instruction will teach members how to integrate e-marketing into their businesses and how to avoid costly mistakes and lost sales.  She added that a low- cost system for creating interactive newsletters, events and online surveys will be covered.

Those in attendance will learn how to save some 10 hours a week in managing social media networks like Facebook Twitter and LinkedIn.

In the contemporary world of today, over a half million U.S. small businesses are using email to reach their online audience, she said.
