With a focus on improving communication between residents and patrol officers, the Ripon Police Department is hosting a community meeting Wednesday at 7 p.m. 

Sgt. Danny Sauer will open the session for questions about his area of responsibility in the police conference room at 259 N. Wilma Ave. While talking mostly about one quadrant of the city, officers will also be providing information and safety tips that may be unique to any specific area of the city.
