Ten years ago this Sept. 11 the unthinkable happened: Terrorists attacked America killing 2,977 people.

That day has forever changed our lives.

The Manteca Bulletin is publishing a  special section on Sept., 11, 2011 reflecting upon that day.

We are inviting readers to share how their lives have changed since that fateful day and/or what they were doing and how the news hit them when they heard terrorists had taken down the Twin Towers, crashed a plane into the Pentagon, and had their plan for a third strike against either the US Capitol or White House foiled by passengers who died heroes in a jet crash in Pennsylvania.

You also are invited to send stories and photos of loved ones who stepped up to serve America in the Global War on Terror after Sept. 11.

You can send your submissions to dwyatt@mantcabulletin.com with “911 reflection” in the subject line. You can also mail your submissions or drop them by the Manteca Bulletin, 531 E. Yosemite Ave., Manteca CA, 95336

The deadline for submissions is Sept. 5 at 5 p.m.
