Alex was known to many as Mr. Hollywood. He was a resident of Manteca for over 60 years. He lived a happy life. He loved country music especially KAT country radio, old western movies, and family gatherings. He loved the simple life particularly holidays; especially the 4th of July or as he called it “fire-cracker day.” He loved to see children laugh and smile. He had a wonderful personality as his smile would always light up the room. He was a proud supporter of his country and he always stood up for his nation. He was a self pro-claimed “last American cowboy.” He was very proud to be an uncle to his many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He was especially proud to be a brother to his 11 siblings and was grateful of his sister Toni who took extra special care of him for many years. Alex will be remembered for his sweet spirit, his zest for life and his loving attitude towards others.

The DeLeon family would like to send a very special “Thank You” to St. Joseph’s Home Health Care and Becky Roiland his home health care nurse that took extra special care of Alex for the past 8 years. “Your thoughtfulness will never be forgotten.”
