Alyne Haney, 84, entered into rest on May 4, 2012 in Modesto, California. She was born on July 8, 1927 in Hart, Texas to the late Mr. and Mrs. Allen and Demmie McLain. She was a resident of Manteca for over 60 years.

Mrs. Haney is survived by her loving husband of 43 years Robert Haney. She has three children Donald Hyatt, Denise Hyatt-Brown, Lyndon Johnson and one step-daughter, Brenda Atwater. She was blessed by nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Haney was a proud homemaker tending to her husband and her children daily. She was a member of 1st Baptist church where she was best known as the church librarian. She loved teaching the word of God to others and reading her daily bible devotions. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to many different historical sites throughout the United States. Alyne was a beautiful person on the outside but beautiful more so on the inside. She was a sweet lady who was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her.

P.L. Fry & Son is honored to be serving the Haney family. A visitation will be held on Thursday May 10, 2012 at 1:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m. held at P.L. Fry & Son 290 N. Union Rd. Manteca. A celebration of life service will be held on Friday May 11, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at 1st Baptist Church, 715 E. North St. Manteca.
