In loving memory of Beverly Jane Crandall, 84, of Manteca, who passed away on April 27, 2009.

Mother’s journey is now complete, the Lord has welcomed her home. Beverly was born April 6, 1925 in Watertown, New York.

A beautiful young spirit, she married Ralph Crandall in 1943 in Amarillo, Texas. Beverly was crowned Queen for a Day in 1957 and was a 35-year employee of Sears/Roebuck in Torrance, Calif. She was the mother of 10 children, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great- grandmother to many. A devout Catholic until her death, she was cared for in her final days by her loving daughters Melanie Picarello and Cindy Barker-Crandall, and her son-in-law Stephen Picarello. She will be missed by all those who truly loved her. “Ma Thanks’ for sharing your journey with me! I’ll love you forever,” Melanie. Scripture: “Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies.” She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph and their youngest son Jody.

P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home, 290 North Union Road, is in care of Mrs. Crandall’s arrangements. A Memorial Mass will be held June 8, at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 505 East North Street. Comitial will be private at a later date. Final resting place will be at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery with her husband Ralph. An online guest book is available for signing and remembrances at www.plfryandson.com
