Buford D. Seals

Buford D. Seals, 82, entered into rest on May 11, 2009 in Stockton, California. He was born on January 5, 1927 in Coolidge Kansas to the late Mr. and Mrs. James and Anna Seals. He was a resident of Manteca since 1966. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Bessie Seals.   

Mr. Seals is survived by his children; Michael Seals and wife Christin of Arizona, Pat Seals and wife Pam of Manteca, Greg Seals and wife Daylin of Stockton and niece who was like a daughter, Pam Wanless and her daughter Rachel Ann. He was blessed by eight grandchildren; John Michael Seals and wife Nauni, Stefani Larson and husband Eldon, Christopher Seals, Brandon Seals, Brian Seals, Brianna Seals, Brett Seals and Allie Seals. He has one sister Hazel June Garrett and husband Joe of Colorado.  
 
Buford retired after 39 years from Sharpe Army Depot in Lathrop and Sacramento as the Director of Data Systems. Buford served our country from 1947 to 1949 with the United States Army Air Corps. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ – Latter-day Saints Northland Ward. Family was always number one in Buford’s life. He had a very special place in his heart for each and every one of his grandchildren. Family reunions were a true blessing in every way to him.

He was an avid golfer and enjoyed a good game of cards. Buford was highly intelligent with wonderful work ethics. His exceptional sense of humor will never be forgotten. He will be deeply missed.  

Services for Mr. Seals are being held under the direction of P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home of Manteca. Visitation will be on Friday, May 15, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home 290 N. Union Road,  Manteca. He will be laid to rest with his beloved wife at a graveside service at 2 p.m. on Friday May 15, at Park View Cemetery.
