Christopher Adam Gikas passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, February 25, 2017. He was 37 years old. Christopher was a gentle soul who looked at the world with wonder, found peace in the mountains and by the sea. He traveled; he loved; he laughed; he lived life as an adventure. He was a protector, and carried the concern for others in his heart. He looked at the sky and beyond with unending curiosity, and as a man he saw life with the same excitement as through the eyes of a child.
Christopher leaves behind a family that is lost without him, blessed for every day with him, and left with the painful reminder that each day with those you love is a gift.
Christopher is survived by his parents, Debbie Gikas, and Kent and Julie Gikas, his brother Evan, grandmothers Rose Nunes and Bert Brown, and a family of aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends who loved him.  He is preceded in death by his grandparents Art Nunes, Mike and Eleanor Gikas, and Nat Brown.  It is to those who have gone before him that we leave in their loving care, our Christopher.
Per the Gikas family request, all services will be private. For condolences to the family please visit our website at www.plfryandson.com
