Clifton William Spence

Born November 7, 1955, Clifton William Spence passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2010.  Clifton is survived by his wife, Janice Spence-Morenzone of Manteca; two sons, Kyle and Christopher Spence, both of Manteca; his brother Clayton Spence of Oakland; and a sister, Sandy LaMar of Salida.  

A lifelong resident of Manteca, Clifton was a Class of 1973 graduate of Manteca High School.  He enjoyed many different sports, including golf, college and professional football and, particularly, NASCAR racing, often attending Sprint Cup races in both Santa Rosa and Ontario.  

Following in his deceased father’s footsteps, Clifton was a plumber by trade, working most recently for Center Plumbing in Manteca for many years.  Due to the holidays, a memorial is pending. In lieu of flowers, the family requests remembrances be made by way of donation to the Alexander Cohen Hospice House, 2201 Euclid Ave, Hughson, CA 95326.
