Duane Leroy Stymans, 74, entered into rest on January 7, 2014. He was born on January 5, 1940 in Bakersfield to the late Andrew and Doris Stymans.
He retired in 1987 from the United States Coast Guard after serving 26 years as chief boatswain’s mate “petty officer”. Duane was married to Sileisa Stymans for 37 years.
   Duane is survived by his loving wife Sileisa, his children, Scott Stymans of Manteca; Coleen Guthric of TX; Mark Stymans of San Lorenzo; Silivia Robinson of TX; John Stymans of Oakley, Vernon Stymans of McKinleyville and Palasi Brown of Hawaii. He was blessed with 16 grandchildren and three great granddaughters. In addition he is survived by his sister Terry Smith of McKinleyville.
