Frances Limas, 76, entered into rest on July 3, 2009 in Modesto California. She was born on November 11, 1932 in Dayton Ridge Wisconsin. She is preceded in death by her two brothers Paul Hoover and Frankie Hoover.  Mrs. Limas is survived by her beloved husband of 28 years Richard Limas of Manteca. Her children are; Sheilah Goulart and her husband Manuel of Manteca, Shelly Reyes and her husband Robert of Salida, Julie Garza and her husband Bernie of Manteca, and Cathy Grijalva and her husband Joe of Stockton. Her siblings are Earl Hoover of Canoga Park, Maxine Brewer of Wisconsin, Ruthie Kirkpatrick of Oregon, Betty Alice Kinnebrew of Stockton and Jack Hoover of Exeter. In addition Granny Franny’s pride and joy was her grandchildren; Jeremy, Anthony, Michael, Micele, William, Steven, Bernie Jr., Mark, Sarah, Erica, and Joey. Her great-grandchildren are; Samuel, Lucas, and Andrew.  Fran worked at TG&Y in the fabric department for over 8 years. She also taught fitness classes at Venus De Milo in Manteca. Fran’s favorite pass time was shopping; she loved a great bargain and never missed a sale. She enjoyed baking for family and friends and tending to her flowers in her yard. At any opportunity Fran would travel down the coast or to the mountains with her husband Richard. She never missed a chance to travel to Oregon or to her home state of Wisconsin with anyone who was up to the challenge of driving from state to state. Fran will be remembered for her love for life and her caring attitude towards others.  A Memorial in Fran’s honor will be held on Saturday, July 11, at 1 p.m. at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home 290 N. Union Road, Manteca.
