Our son, brother, husband, father, uncle, and friend; Frank “Brian” Sallee was born in Pittsburgh, CA on March 16, 1963 and left us December 14, 2017 at the age of 54.
   His beloved family included, his parents Frank and Bonnie Sallee, his wife Lisa (Fowkes) Sallee, their beautiful daughter Kayla Sallee, his sister Delores (Sallee) Nolasco, niece Raquel Souza, nephews Mark Souza, Franky, Brendon, and Brody Nolasco, his aunt Billie Johnson and cousin Darlene.
   At a very young age he loved to hang out in his grandpa Bill’s garden tending to the tomatoes and often times lounging in his homemade couch swing. His family moved to the small town of Manteca, CA in 1972. Brian was an active child who loved to explore his community. He was introduced to sports through his involvement with the Manteca Recreation Department located less than a block from his home. Entering Manteca High School, Brian excelled at baseball, soccer and football garnering MVP and All Valley Oak League accolades. He took his football receiver skills to Modesto Junior College, where he was named All-conference. He attended and finished his football career at Sacramento State and joined the PIKE fraternity; he loved to talk about his competitions in the ring during the  “River Days” boxing matches.
   Brian enlisted in the United States Marine Corps reserves; it was during this time that he met his long-time love Lisa at a fraternity function. He also began working in the rubber hose industry during this time, as his experience and contacts grew they eventually opened their own business “Cal Hose” in West Sacramento. The success of the business led to Brian and Lisa eventually settling in El Dorado Hills, where their beloved daughter Kayla joined them. He loved to take Kayla to Disneyland, Hawaii and garden with her. He especially enjoyed going exploring and spending time with her.
   Brian’s hobbies included hunting, fishing and diving for Abalone. He was smart, funny, entertaining, and had a laugh that made everyone smile. All that met Brian, many of who remained constant friends throughout his life, welcomed his engaging personality and his commitment to friendship. He and the #81 will be truly missed and never forgotten.
