Gerald Gary Rheinor
March 12, 1938-February 19, 2015
GERALD 001bw

Gerald Gary Rheinor, 76, entered into rest on Thursday, February 19, 2015 in Manteca. He was born on March 12, 1938 in Oakland, to the late Charles and Harriet Rheinor.
Gerald leaves behind his loving wife of 54 years Joanne Rheinor of Manteca, his daughters, Deborah Cruz and Dina Rheinor both of Manteca. He was blessed with three grandchildren and three great grandchildren, Ashely Amoroso, Sabrina Cruz and Andrew Cruz, Aiden Sandoval, Naomi Amoroso and Tayton Sandoval. Gerald also leaves many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Gerald was a Manteca resident for 12 years, but previously a bay area native. He owned and operated Commercial Upholstery, where he retired from after 30 years of service. After moving to Manteca he would frequently visit the local upholstery businesses, as he could never completely retire. Gerald was an avid guitar player, and in his younger years was a proud member of a group called “The Gamblers”. This name, later on in life would be tremendously fitting, as he would never pass up visiting local casinos or trying his luck with his favorite scratcher.  Gerald was the highlight of any event, funny, witty and outspoken; he would never let anyone get away with anything! He loved his family dearly and his grandchildren were his everything. He will be remembered for his larger than life personality and for being the most loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed.
P.L. Fry and Son is honored to serve the Rheinor family. A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at P.L. Fry and Son, 290 North Union Road, Manteca, CA. He will be laid to rest privately. For condolence to the family please visit our website at www.plfryandson.com search obituaries.
