John Scott Brockmeier, entered into rest on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011, following a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. He was born in Richland, Washington on Nov. 4, 1953.

He is survived by his wife, Carol; daughters, Sarah, Carrie, Alexandria, and Jenna Brockmeier; granddaughters, Bailey and Riley Williams; son-in-law Daryle Williams; brothers, Alan and David Brockmeier; and sister Melinda Yorgason.

The family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in lieu of flowers. Memorial services will be held at Sequoia Heights Baptist Church, 1050 South Union Road, Manteca on Jan. 18, 2011 at 1 p.m.
