Judith A. Scott, 72, entered into eternal rest on June 10, 2016 in Modesto, California. She was born on June 3, 1944 in Utah.
In heaven she joins her loving husband Roger Scott and her daughter Deane Davis.
She leaves behind her children, Rhonda Buhay and husband Gary of Manteca and John Scott and wife Ruth of Modesto. She was blessed with six grandchildren, Priscilla Brown and husband Mathew, John Perez, Amanda Buhay, Nohemi Mariscel, Jessica Scott and John Scott Jr. She was blessed with one great-grandbaby Titus Brown. In addition she has one surviving sibling Toni Leonard.
Judi was a Modesto resident, but prior to Modesto she called Fremont home. She retired from Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority as a supervisor. She was a talented seamstress, show casing her talent with wedding and prom dresses. She was an avid reader, enjoying a good book and looked forward to the next. Judy was a loyal Giants and 49ner fan always cheering on her favorite teams.  Judy was optimistic and loved to try her luck buying her daily lottery tickets. Above all Judy was all about her family she loved them unconditionally. Judy was small in size, but made it up with her mighty personality.   She will be remembered as a loving mother, an adored grandmother and special great grandma.
P.L. Fry is honored to serve Judy’s family. A celebration of Life will be held in her honor on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 11 a.m. at P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home, 290 North Union Road, Manteca. She will be laid to rest at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 11 a.m..
