Ms. Lindeman is survived by her two loving daughters Sara Whetten (Wayne) and Savannah Cox. She was blessed with three grandchildren Noelle, Hailey and Konner Whetten. Her two sisters are Janet Fiore (Frank) and Denise Ahearn. In addition she had many nieces and nephews who she adored; Ashley Ahearn, Stephanie Farmer, Amie Mullen, Todd Fiore (Heather), Denise Newell, and Gina Rosomond (Joe). She also had numerous extended family members who loved her dearly.

Karen worked for MUSD for over 20 years. For the past 10 years she worked at East Union High School as a IT Tech and Librarian. To keep busy Karen also worked a second job which she thoroughly enjoyed as a Barista at Starbucks for the past seven years.

Karen always kept busy throughout her life. When her children were younger she owned and operated Fashion Express clothing store for over five years. She was an amazing person always up beat even during the roughest times of her life. She always had a beautiful smile on her face. She was an incredible mother constantly sacrificing everything to give her daughters the best in life. Her heart was always giving as she mothered everyone she came across. Serving people was a true joy to her. Recently she felt extremely honored to volunteer at Hope Shelter in Manteca where she left with a full heart and a sense of fulfillment. She had an appreciation for the military and loved that her son-in-law was a part our great armed forces. Karen always lived by the Mother Teresa quote “I know God won’t give me anything I can’t handle; I just wish he didn’t trust me so much.” Karen will be remembered as a devoted mother, loving sister and cherished aunt. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
