Kerry Bufkin
November 7, 1957 -April 15, 2012
bufkin

Kerry lived the first half of his life in Fremont. He enjoyed outdoor sports. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. In most of his pictures, he is posing with a fish or pheasant. He became an operating engineer in his 20’s and he loved his job. He always said it was like playing with Tonka Toys, only on a large scale. He moved to Manteca in 1983 and it was perfect for him. It’s close to the Delta for boating and fishing. Plus, he could always drive down a levee road and find a place to shoot. Kerry always enjoyed having a good time. He was a caring brother, son, uncle, great uncle, and brother-in-law. He lost his dad and best friend in 2010 and things became a little more difficult for him, but he always tried to remain upbeat. He loved his family and friends and will be missed by many.

Kerry is survived by his loving mother Jo Bufkin, his niece Cory (Rich Beeson), his nephew Tyler Bufkin (Jenn), his nephew Shaun Warren, and his great niece Alycia Warren. He also leaves behind his brother Donald Bufkin (Robin) of Modesto.

Deegan Funeral Chapel is honored to serving the Bufkin Family. Services are being held private. For condolences to the family, please visit his online guestbook at www. deeganfuneralchapels.com
