Leslie Harris entered into rest on Dec. 4 in Manteca.
She was born on July 20, 1930 in Houston, Texas. She was 78 years old. Leslie was a Lathrop resident since 1977. She is preceded in death by her son Mark Adams.
Leslie is survived by her children; daughter, Della Yeardley and husband Dennis Williams and son, Michael Walker of Oregon. She was also blessed by two granddaughters Janelle and Monica Yeardley.
Leslie was very proud to say that she was a three-time survivor of cancer. She was an avid collector of koala bears and frogs. She enjoyed crocheting, baking, and gardening. She was very proud of her rose bushes and found serenity while tending them. She was a sports enthusiast, enjoying NASCAR and supporting her Dallas Cowboys. Leslie found joy spending time with her loved ones. She held her friends very close to her heart and her children and grandchildren meant the world to her.
P.L. Fry & Son Funeral is handling the arrangements for Ms. Harris.
Friends and family are welcome to her celebration of life open house gathering from 2 to 5 p.m. at Leslie’s home at 15820 S. Harland Rd. #27 in Lathrop on Dec. 13.
