Lionel Benton “Ben” Jetton, age 69, passed away December 29, 2017.
   He was preceded in death by his parents Earnest and Learene Jetton and sister Loretta Freeman. He survived by wife Marlene, married 46 years, daughter Monique, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and adopted family members.
   He worked various jobs, Libby-Owens Ford glass, Escalon Unified School District as a bus driver/ custodian, and at the Army Air Force Exchange in maintenance. 
   His passion was being Santa for downtown Manteca.
   Arrangements have been entrusted to Deegan Funeral Chapel.  The service will be held Friday, January 5 at
1:00 p.m. at the Escalon Church of Christ, 1303 Irwin St., Escalon, CA. 
   Donations to Community Hospice or Camp Erin, Community Hospice.
