Lucille E. Jump, 87, passed away Jan. 1 at Kaiser Hospital in Manteca.
She was born Lucille Everett  Oct. 11, 1921,  in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Lucille has resided in Manteca for 15 years. Prior to that she lived in Dublin for 31 years.
She was married to the late John G. Jump.
Lucille is survived by her children David G. Jump of Manteca, Marcia H. Robertson and husband Mike of Henderson, NV, John R. Jump of Goldsboro, N.C., Ronald Allan Jump and wife, Juli of Oakley, and Kristine L. Kenyon and husband Steven of Manteca; 12 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Lucille was a homemaker and also worked for Dublin Unified School District for over 10 years.  She had also worked at a child care facility in Dublin for over 5 years.  Her life service was caring for children and was very devoted to her family.  She was a member of the Federated Women’s Club in Manteca and other club associations.  She enjoyed knitting, sewing, cooking and baking.  Her greatest joy was being a mother.
Visitation is Thursday, Jan. 8 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Road, Manteca. Service is Thursday, Jan. 8, at 11 a.m. at Manteca Presbyterian Church, 275 N. Main Street, Manteca.
A private burial for family at Dublin Pioneer Cemetery, Dublin.
