Marjorie F. Crom, age 94, of Manteca, passed away on  Monday, February 15, at Bethany Home in Ripon. She was born on December 28, 1915 in Walnut Grove, Calif. She came to Manteca in 1919 at the age of 3 years.

She was president of the San Joaquin County Farm Bureau Women, Manteca Garden Club and the Lathrop Farm Bureau Women. Marjorie played an active role in keeping Wilson Park from being taken over for parking.

Marjorie was part of the reunion group of 1933 graduates of Manteca High School.

She is survived by her three sons, James of Placerville, Robert of Grass Valley and Christopher of Manteca; grandchildren, Christine McGuire of Modesto, Cindy Wilborn of Redding, Kim Ogden of Visalia, Branden Crom of Fresno, Nicole Crom of Eugene, OR, Lesley Barre of Allen, TX, Karen McWhorter of Louisville, KY and Susan Albert of Placerville; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Melvin H. Crom.

Services will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Park View Funeral Home, 3661 E. French Camp Rd., Manteca, Calif.
