Mark Neal Thompson Jr., 49, entered into rest alongside his wife Janene on December 28, 2021 in Reno, NV. He was born in Anaheim, CA, November 25, 1972.
Mark leaves behind his parents, father, Mark Neal Thompson Sr. and stepmother Betsy of Oakdale, and mother, Nansii Downer and stepfather Bryan of TX, siblings, Kerenza Alvarez, Tim Thompson and Jaymes Downer. He leaves also his grandpa Don Stout and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, who loved him dearly.
Mark was originally from Anaheim, CA. He made his way to Chico, CA, and would then call Oakdale home. He met his wife Janene while working in Oakdale and they became inseparable. Mark worked in landscaping the majority of his life, most recently for Reno Green Landscape Company. He was a proud member of the E. Clampas Vitas.
Mark was a faithful Minnesota Vikings fan, never missing a game and always geared for luck. He was fun and outgoing, especially while golfing. Mark and Janene both loved the outdoors. Living in Reno allowed them the space to raise their goats and for Mark to enjoy his custom outdoor bar. People were naturally drawn to Mark, he loved
unconditionally and made everyone feel like family.  Mark will be remembered for his zest for life, for being an amazing son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend.  He will deeply be missed.
P.L. Fry is honored to serve the Thompson family.  A celebration of life will be held in both Mark and Janene’s honor on Monday, January 24,
2022 at 1:00  p.m. at P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home, 290 North Union Road, Manteca. They will be laid to rest at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery,
