Marvin DeHoog, 87, entered into rest on February 1, 2017 in Ripon, California. He was born on January 20, 1930 in Pipestone, Minnesota. Marvin is now reunited with his late wife of 61 years, Joan, whom passed in 2012, along with his grandson, Bryan DeHoog, whom passed away in 2007.
   He will be missed by his loving children Debbie Indermuelhle (Gary) of Ripon, Randal DeHoog of Ripon, Lynn Winters (Larry) of Ripon, his grandchildren Scott Indermuehle (Jen) of Danville, Lisa Beck (Tim) of Klamath Falls of Oregon, Sara DeJong (Brock) of Manteca, Kristi Heinrich (Jerad) of Salida, Katie Winters of Oakdale and Carlie Hart (Tom) of Oakdale. He also leaves behind his siblings Margie Koetsier of Visalia, Cornelia VanGorkum of Escalon, Sibilla Boerigter of Michigan, Abraham DeHoog of Visalia, Jake DeHoog of Mentone, Adrianna VanRieson of Orange City, Iowa, and 11 great grandchildren.
   Marvin proudly served in the US Navy from January 1951 to October 1954. He enjoyed doing yardwork, and especially cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren and family. He will be sorely missed.
   Arrangements have been entrusted to Deegan Funeral Chapels. A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Ripon Cemetery.
