Mary Jane Whitis, 67, entered into the Lords care December 3, 2011 in Manteca, CA. She was born to Alfred and Alta Grace Rodriguez, November 20, 1944, in Alma, Michigan. Along with her parents, Mary is proceeded in death by her son, George C. Whitis Jr.

Mary is survived by her eternal husband George C. Whitis of Manteca, her sons; Robert Whitis of Stockton, CA and Raymond Whitis of Texas. In addition to her sons, Mary is survived by eight grandchildren, one brother, and two sisters.

Mr. & Mrs. Whitis have been married for 47 years. Mary kept herself involved with her sons’ sports while they were growing up. Mary liked working with her hands as she loved doing crafts and cake decorating. She spent many years working in the electronics industry.  Mary enjoyed learning family history and doing genealogy work. When Mary was able to, she would go to the bowling alley to watch George bowl and socialize with her friends. Mary was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day Saints.
