Mildred Yvonne Berg Ploehn, 80 entered into rest on February 16, 2014 in Stockton, Ca. She was born in Bottineau North Dakota May 15, 1933. She is preceded in death by her husband Duane, her parents Oliver and Sigrid Berg, brothers Kenneth and Ronald Berg as well as, her sister, Ardis Berg, who passed away on Feb 7, 2014.
   Mrs. Ploehn is survived by her brother, Morris Berg (Lynden WA), her children Linda Wever (Don), Michele Junqueiro (Dave), Douglas Ploehn and Susan Smith. She had 8 grandchildren Gina, David, Mathew, Michael, Larry, Thomas, Jenna and Kelly and nine great-grandchildren.
   Mildred was known to family and friends as Yvonne or Millie. She grew up in Bottineau North Dakota where she met the love of her life Duane; they married September 15, 1951. In 1956, with three children aged 5 and under, Duane and Millie moved from North Dakota to Manteca California; where they had their fourth child. Millie was a homemaker and the bookkeeper for their auto repair business they owned and operated from 1963 to 1997, Duane’s Tune-up Clinic in Manteca. She enjoyed and loved her family immensely. She was a long-time member and active supporter of St. Anthony’s and St. Patrick’s Catholic churches. She enjoyed traveling as she and her husband especially loved touring Europe. Millie favorite pass times included reading and gardening. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
   A visitation will be held on Sunday February 23, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a vigil service at 6:00 p.m., both at P.L. Fry & Son 290 N. Union Rd. Manteca, CA A Mass will be held on Monday February 24, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church 19399 Hwy 120 Ripon, Ca. She will be laid to rest with her beloved husband at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery.
