Nita Sheldon, age 80, of Manteca, CA passed away Friday, January 10, 2014, at her residence.  She was born in James Town, North Dakota on December 13, 1933. Nita worked as a mail carrier at Sharps Army Depot for over 30 years.  In her younger years she camped and fished often.  Nita was an avid shopper and loved to dine out for breakfast or lunch. She loved her four dogs whole heartedly, and donated often to the SPCA and Humane Society.
   She is survived by her son Guy Marcias, of Manteca, CA.  She was predeceased by her late husband, Richard Sheldon, and her late son Walter “Dinky” Marcias.
   A memorial service will be held at Park View Funeral Home, 3661 E. French Camp Road, Manteca, CA 95336, on Saturday, January 18, 2014, at 10:00a.m.
   Internment will be at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery and will be private. She will be placed with her husband.  Arrangements are being handled by Park View Funeral Home, 3661 E. French Camp Rd., Manteca, CA.
