Patricia Paulsen was born on March 17, 1940, in Sanger, California.
She was raised in Oakland, attending Castlemont High School, where she received her diploma in 1958.
Pat was the assistant purchasing agent for Hexcel Corp., prior to working for the county of San Joaquin for the next twenty-five years, first becoming the Elective County Clerk from 1990-1994.
She also helped her husband Pete Paulsen with his car shows as well as his non-profit Bikes For Kids. Pat was a loving sister to both her brother Ted Emens and sister Donna Holman. Pat was married to her beloved Pete for 52 glorious years. Their love story was one of enduring companionship and mutual respect.
Together they raised four wonderful children; Danny Jones, Rick Jones, Carinne Garnet and Doreen Linza. Pat was also a loving grandmother, great-grandmother to her six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was also a huge animal lover, supporting various charities throughout her lifetime.
Pat will be remembered for her compassion for others, kindness and tender heart. Pat will be deeply missed by family, friends and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
A Celebration of Life is being held on October 1st, 2023 during the Hot Rod Party at the Paulsen Ranch, at 1504 W. Bowman Road, in French Camp.
