Peter Ramirez Sr., age 82, entered into rest on Dec. 15 peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family in Lathrop.
He was born on May 4, 1926 in Yuma, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his wife Caroline Padilla Ramirez, his daughter Susan Ramirez, and his son Joel Ramirez.

He was a loving father of 13 children; Carol Birdwell of Yuba City, Elenore Vargas of Fremont, Rebecca Reyes of Yuba City, Donald Ramirez of South Carolina, Ronald Ramirez of Yuba City, Peter Ramirez of South Carolina, Jesus Ramirez of Yuba City, Richard Ramirez of Modesto, Jacqueline Garcia of Lathrop, John Ramirez of Yuba City, and Sylvia Ramirez of Pittsburg.

Peter was blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and family.
Park View Funeral Home at 3661 E. French Camp Road, Manteca, is in charge of services.

Viewing will take place at Park View Memorial Chapel on Friday, Dec. 26, at 3 p.m. followed by a rosary at 7 p.m. A Catholic mass will be celebrated Saturday, Dec. 27, at St. Anthony’s Church on North Street in Manteca at noon followed by internment at Park View Cemetery, 3661 E. French Camp Road.
