Ricky is survived by his adoring wife of 30 years, Robyn Blankenship, and his loving sons, Ryan Blankenship, Randy Blankenship and wife Sarah, Raymond Blankenship and companion Jennifer Cook, Russel Blankenship and wife Briana.  Rick has three grandchildren that he loved dearly, Aubree Joann, Russel Alexander and Emilee Jean.  He is also survived by his beloved father Albert Blankenship, loving sister, Anna Radunich and husband Steve, beloved brother Dennis Blankenship and wife Laurel, beloved mother and father-in-law Shirley and Ray Shanrock, and beloved sister- in-law Shelley Andrews, his nieces and nephews, Steven, Anthony, Daniel, Gina, Brooke, Zoe and Paris and great nephew and niece Giovani and Quinn.
Ricky will always be remembered for his love, admiration and pride for his family. He especially enjoyed attending family events and being able to spend time laughing and sharing memories with his family and old friends.  He especially adored his young grandchildren and nothing in the world put a bigger smile on his face than being a devoted “Papa.” His family meant the world to him. He will always be remembered for his huge heart, his witty sense of humor, his “happy disposition,” and his old-fashioned ways.
Ricky enjoyed talking sports with his boys and had an endearing love for the Green Bay Packers, the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Los Angeles Lakers.  He even got to visit Lambeau Field and see the Packers play his second favorite team, the Pittsburg Steelers with his nephew Steven, and felt at that time his life was almost complete.
