Robert Holloway, 77, passed away peacefully with his beloved wife of 30 years, Edith, and son, Robert Jr., by his side in Manteca, California on September 3, 2019.
   He was born on October 9, 1941 in California. Robert leaves behind his mother-in-law, Nonie, and brothers, Dennis (Olga) Przybycien of Sonoma and Glenn (Susan) Holloway of Nevada. He will be missed by his three nephews, Jacob Glasgow of Patterson, Max Thompson and Anthony Salazar of Manteca and his only niece, Tanya Salazar of Manteca.
   Robert was extremely proud of his service in the United States Navy. After finishing his enlistment, he began working in shipping and receiving. Robert had a deep passion for sport hunting. He hunted for all types of game in many different states. He enjoyed game hunting so much, he eventually became President of the Stockton Sportsman Club where he forged many special bonds and lifelong friendships. He also enjoyed fishing, classic cars, motorcycles and his favorite football team, the 49ers, and his favorite baseball team, the Giants.  Robert was the life of the party and lit up every room he was in. As a father and husband, Robert was extremely attentive, dependable and loyal. He will be missed by his friends, family and Sportsman Club who loved him deeply.
   P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the Holloway family. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at
10 a.m., followed by a celebration of life service at 11a.m. at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery. An online guestbook is available for condolences at www.plfryandson.com.
