Russell Lynn Arndt, 50, entered into rest on December 6, 2010 in Stockton, California.  He was born on October 23, 1960 in Great Falls, Montana. Russell joins his father Don Arndt as well as his uncle Warren Thompson in heaven.

Russell is survived by his loving wife Julie Arndt, his beloved sons Ryan James and Jordan Russell, all of Stockton. He also leaves behind his mother Marion Ellen Arndt of Manteca and sisters Diane Beck (Peter) of Pine Grove, Dorothy Swicord (Ron) of Washington, and Sandy Vochatzer (Herb) of Manteca. He was also a very special uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Russell grew up in Stockton graduating from Lincoln High School in 1979. While at Lincoln High Russell was a well-recognized athlete with football. For the past twenty years Russell was employed by Dameron Hospital in the Central Supply Department. He was a sports enthusiast, loving the Rams, the Reds, and the L.A. Lakers. Russell was an extremely giving man who loved his family dearly. He was a hard worker always providing for his wife and sons. Russell will be remembered as a loving husband, an amazing father and a very special son, brother and friend. He will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved him.

In Russell’s honor a memorial service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010 at First Baptist Church 3645 N. El Dorado St., Stockton at 11 a.m.. All services are being directed under P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home of Manteca. In lieu of flowers the family is asking contributions can be made to the Russell Arndt Memorial Fund at Bank of America, March Lane branch in Stockton, to assist his wife and children at this difficult time.
