Vincent Indelicato bw

Vincent Indelicato, age 84, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2017 in Modesto, CA. He was born at San Joaquin County Hospital on September 2, 1933 to Gaspare and Caterina Indelicato. Vince joins Dorothy, his wife of 62 years who passed away in May, in heaven.
He is survived by their children Marie Mathews and husband Kim, Robert Indelicato and wife Leslie, sister Frances Sciabica, sisters-in-law Alice and Mary Indelicato,  brother-in-law Edward Cardoza and wife Dolores, and four grandchildren: Stephen Vincent Mathews, Mollie Bloudoff-Indelicato, Katie Bloudoff-Indelicato, and Kyle Bloudoff-Indelicato. He will be greatly missed by his cousins, nieces and nephews.
Vince attended Manteca schools and graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in 1955.  Together with his brothers Frank and Anthony, he grew up working in the family-owned wine business founded by their father, Gaspare and uncle Sebastiano Luppino. Vince has held several roles in the company from the first sales position to president and chairman of the Board of Directors.
In his retirement years, Vince enjoyed daily coffee time and spirited political discussions with his loyal friends. Vince bowled on the same team, in the same Manteca league, for more than 60 years.  He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, good food and plenty of it, family and friends to share it and Delicato wines - still produced just a few hundred yards from his boyhood home.
A service will be held on Friday, December 22, 11:00 am, at Calvary Community Church, 815 W. Lathrop Road, Manteca CA 95336 with private interment to follow at Park View Cemetery, Manteca.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvary Community Church or Soroptimist International Memorial Fund, PO Box 218, Manteca CA 95336.
