Walter Charles Rector, age 92, passed away on March 23, 2012 in Lodi, California. He was born on April 13, 1919 in Missouri. He served in the Army in Europe during World War II. He lived in San Joaquin County for 60 years. Walter worked as a machinist and retired from Sharpe Army Depot.

Walter was preceded in death by his wife Loreta Rector and his brother Lester Rector of Hathaway Pines, CA. Walter is survived by his children; Charles R. Rector of Riverbank, CA, Linda D. Pimentel of Redding, CA, Lucille Cornish of Tacoma, WA and Gerald Rector, of Manteca, CA. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 13, 2012 at 1:00pm with placement at Park View Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Park View Funeral Home, 3661 East French Camp Rd., Manteca, CA.
