Day 169-175

I’m back. I had my vacation and I tried my best to be faithful to my goals.  I woke early before leaving and hit the gym for a final workout on Monday morning.  The family left for the trip and Mitch ended up having a championship game in Turlock that night so we stayed and went to the game. It was worth it, we won!  First SECTION CHAMPIONSHIP for Manteca Little League!  We came home, loaded up and we were going to leave at crack of dawn but instead I hit the gym for a one last workout and we left at 7 a.m. instead.

I had big plans of doing all my exercises throughout the week — none of that happened.  I was really disappointed in myself.  The only real exercise I did was go for a four mile hike and some bike rides.  The rest of the time I did NOTHING!

We arrived home on Sunday night and raced off to the next round of baseball in Carmichael.  I was dying to check the scale — UGH — gained two pounds.  I guess it is better than I thought but it still took like two weeks to lose that two pounds and now it’s back on in just a few short days.

Steven, the owner at CALFIT has decided to shake things up a little with my workout and training.  I am starting my 26th week tomorrow and I am basically at the half way point for the competition AND my goal.  I have lost a little over 50 pounds and have a little more than 50 to go.  Javi will be my new trainer for the next six months.  Looking forward to what I will learn from Javi and what we can do on the next leg of this journey.  I’m super excited!
