The Manteca Dolphins were able to put together a solid meet, but could not keep pace with the Ceres Dolphins dropping their Mid-Valley Swim League meeting 969.5 to 895.5 Saturday.

Manteca got a productive meet from Delaney Brubaker in the 6-under girls division, as she posted victories in the 50 free and the 25 free, while teammate Matthew Trejo earned wins in the 50 free, 25 fly, and the 25 free.

In the girls 11-12 division Lane Fishburn took the 100 individual, 50 butterfly as well as the 50 free. Ty Wells won the 100 IM in the boys 11-12 division, while Darrel Yamamura took first in the 100 IM and the 50 breast, while Lucas Romero was a big winner as well, taking first in the 50 fly, 100 free and the 50 free.

The girls 11-12 division also had strong times from Nancy Enriquez, who won the 100 free with a time of 1:08.17 and Ashlea Green, who swam to victory in the 50 back. Scott Tolman was victorious in the boys 11-12 division with a 39.66 time in the 50 back.

Luke Kramer posted victories in the 50-breast and 50-back, while Mallory Brubaker took down the 50-free in the girls 9-10 division.

Ceres was able to distance themselves from Manteca in the meet’s closing events, taking six of the final nine relays. The Dolphins will be back in the water Saturday when they travel to Turlock for the Sea Dogs Invitational.
