Manteca High’s sophomores racked up more than 500 total offensive yards and rolled to a 40-0 win over host Los Banos on Friday night in non-league play. It was Manteca’s first shutout of the season.

 Charles Dakarai ran for 133 yards on nine carries with two touchdowns and Marcus Rivas added two touchdowns behind 109 rushing yards on six carries to pace the high-octane Manteca offense. Darrion Kitson carried the ball 10 times for 85 yards with one touchdown. Ronald Tijero made his one catch count with a 10-yard touchdown reception.

The Spartans never led in the non-league contest on Friday.

 Alex Valencia led the Lathrop defense with 116 yards on 15 carries with two touchdown runs. Diego Chavez was 6 of 9 passing for 67 yards with Keenan Donatelli-Bryant making four catches for 45 yards.
