The Spartans strung together four wins on consecutive nights last week, and their senior outside hitter played a big part in the streak.

Olaleye totaled 59 kills (14.75 per match) and 69 digs (17.25), recording double-doubles in the final three matches of the week.

She spearheaded the Spartans’ five-game comeback win at Franklin in a non-league tilt on Friday, finishing with 17 kills and 24 digs.

On Thursday, Lathrop defeated Western Athletic Conference rival Mountain House in four games behind Olaleye’s 19 kills, 15 digs and two solo blocks.

The Spartans was locked in another five-game marathon Wednesday in non-league action, with Olaleye amassing 17 kills and 18 digs.

They started the week with a sweep of Los Banos. Olaleye contributed six kills, 12 digs and two aces.

Lathrop ended the week with a 10-5 overall record.
