Alexis Lopez booted two goals for tournament host Manteca on Friday to help start the Buffalo Cup with a 2-0 win over Millennium.
“The boys established their chemistry today,” Buffaloes coach Daniel Guevara said. “It was phenomenal.
“All 22 boys played stellar.”
Erik Ruelas and Felipe Munoz each added a goal for Manteca (2-1) while Matsua Garcia-Mendez posted four saves.
The Buffaloes face Franklin of Stockton at 8 a.m. today in a semifinal contest.

Jacob Garcia had a goal and an assist for the Lancers.
Enrique Perez added a goal for the Lancers (2-0) and Jesus Hurtado had an assist.
East Union faces West-Tracy this morning at 9:30 in the semifinal round.
