RIPON — Senior night did not last long at Ripon Christian on Tuesday.
The Knights, who are a win away from securing a share of their second straight Southern Athletic League title, allowed just 18 points in their 25-5, 25-8, 25-5 shelling of Delhi. They improved to 12-1 in league and 21-9 overall and head to third-place Orestimba on Thursday for their regular-season finale.
Ariel Vander Woude was among the eight seniors honored, and she finished with 16 assists and five aces. Fellow seniors Morgan Van Elderen (eight assists) and Alexis Hilvers pounded five kills apiece. Emily Van Groningen led all hitters with 11 kills.

Lathrop 3, Mountain House 0
MOUNTAIN HOUSE — The Spartans (14-0, 20-4 overall) punctuated their undefeated season in the Western Athletic Conference with an emphatic 25-9, 25-17, 25-19 sweep of the third-place Mustangs (11-3, 17-8).
Jahsita Fa’ali’i led the way with 17 kills, three aces and five digs. Sydney Hanks added eight kills and four blocks, Ke’Mya Barnett came up with six blocks and Jennifer Santillan delivered 28 assists. Hailey Hunter paced the back row with 18 digs.

Central Catholic 3, Sierra 0
MODESTO — Central Catholic (11-0, 22-8 overall) secured a second straight Valley Oak League title with the 25-12, 25-12, 25-9 victory.
McKenzie Lettice dished out 30 assists, Abby Castillon hammered 14 kills and Kalli McElrath added four aces and six digs.

Junior varsity
Lathrop 2, Mountain House 0

Lathrop secured its outright crown in the WAC, ending the season with a 14-0 league record and a 25-23, 25-15 victory.
Camila De La Garza anchored the attack with 13 assists. LaNicia Ellis slugged four kills, as did freshman call-up Alaba Olaleye who also recorded eight digs and two aces.

Central Catholic 2, Sierra 0
The Raiders held on for the 26-24, 25-19 win.
Annie Pechenino amassed 15 assists and nine aces, while Mia Duag added five kills.

Mountain House 2, Lathrop 1

The Spartans fell 18-25, 25-21, 7-15 for their lone defeat in the WAC, which forces a share of the championship.
Irais Martinez produced four kills, two aces and seven digs. Dana Mandanas collected 14 digs, while Alejandra Vazquez handed out six assists.

Kylee Lucas racked up 14 assists, five aces and four kills to highlight the Raiders’ 25-21, 25-23 victory.
