STOCKTON (AP) — Brallan Perez tripled, doubled and singled, scoring two runs as the Stockton Ports topped the Lancaster JetHawks 7-2 on Tuesday.
Sandber Pimentel homered and singled with two RBIs for Stockton.
Stockton took the lead in the first when Dairon Blanco hit a two-run triple and then scored on a ground out by Jonah Heim.
After Stockton added a run in the second on a single by Luis Barrera, the JetHawks cut into the deficit in the sixth inning when Jacob Bosiokovic and Max George hit back-to-back home runs.
The Ports later added a run in the seventh and two in the eighth. In the seventh, Barrera hit an RBI single, while Pimentel hit a two-run home run in the eighth.
Stockton right-hander Dustin Hurlbutt (3-3) picked up a quality start and the win after allowing two runs on five hits over 6 1/3 innings. Opposing starter Antonio Santos (0-1) took the loss in the California League game after allowing four runs and eight hits over six innings.
