Ragas single leads Stockton over Rancho Cucamonga in 10 innings

RANCHO CUCAMONGA (AP) — Argenis Raga hit an RBI single in the top of the 10th inning to lead the Stockton Ports to a 7-6 win over the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes on Monday.

Eli White scored the go-ahead run on the single after he reached base with a single and advanced to third on a single by Nate Mondou.

The Ports tied the game 6-6 in the ninth when Mikey White hit an RBI single, driving in Skye Bolt.

Reliever Armando Ruiz (3-1) went two scoreless innings, striking out three and walking two to pick up the win. Andrew Istler (4-5) went 1 1/3 innings, allowing two runs and six hits in the California League game. He also struck out one and walked one. Nolan Blackwood retired the side in order for his 15th save of the season.

For the Quakes, Keibert Ruiz doubled and singled twice.
