New to Kia Country is the 2013 Rio.
It’s a subcompact car that comes in a four-door sedan or four-door hatchback. The Rio also had a few design changes from that of the previous year.
Sedan or hatchback, this Kia operates on a 138-horsepowered 1.6-liter four-cylinder Gas Direct Injected engine, getting an estimated 30 miles per gallon gas mileage city, 40 mpg highway (those numbers may vary based on one’s driving habits).
The 2013 Rio – available in LX, EX and the sporty SX body styles – can be found on display just outside the Manteca dealership showroom at 1515 N. Main St.
It’s a stylish hatchback that comes equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission with an active eco system electric power steering and 15-inch steel wheel rims.
Safety features include anti-lock braking system, dual front advanced airbags, front seat-mounted airbags, full-length side curtain airbags, three-point (all seating positions) seat belts, lower anchor and tether latch, traction control and antiskid control.
Inside, the Rio has leather upholstery, heated front seats, multi-adjustable driver’s seat, tilt and telescopic steering column, and an audio system with AM/FM/CD/MP3.
Bluetooth wireless technology along with remote keyless entry is also available.
In addition, the Rio has extra luggage space under the floor tray and a cargo cover.
