MODESTO - The music of Motown is being celebrated at the Picnic at the Pops presented by the Modesto Symphony on Saturday, Sept. 8, at the E. & J. Gallo Winery Grounds, Modesto.

Grounds open at 4 p.m. with the concert at 7:3-0 p.m.

Ming Luke is the conductor while the concert features the vocal group Spectrum.

Home to the Supremes, the Four Tops, the Temptations and countless other beloved groups of the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s, the Motown label was a national treasure. Recapture its glory days in this spectacular tribute. Pack your picnic basket and bring the gang to experience this popular annual outdoor concert on the beautiful grounds of the Gallo Winery.

Don’t want to pack a picnic? Let one of our authorized caterers create one for you!  Boxed lunches and gourmet concert treats will be available for pick-up from our caterers’ table at the concert.

Tickets are $35 for adults and $12 for youth on the general lawn; $55 for adults and $19 for youth on reserved lawn while children under 3 are free.
