Music on Maple returns next month, skate park event is set for May 16

The 2026 line-up for Manteca Recreation & Community Services’ Music on Maple series has been established.

It takes place the third Thursday of every month, from May to October from 6 to 9 p.m. in the 100 block of North Maple Avenue in downtown Manteca.

It features a band, vendor booths, food trucks, a beer garden, and more.

Different music genres are featured each month.

*May: Classic Rock. Attendees are encouraged to put on band tees and come ready to shred during an air guitar contest.

*June: Jammin’ Manteca reggae. The evening will include an open skate.

*July: Classic country. It includes a corn hole contest.

*August: Pop music. Glam up for Pop-arazzi photo ops.

*September: Oldies & funk. It will feature a low-rider car show.

*October: R&B. Show up looking super fly and join the Soul train line.

Skate competition

takes place May 16

The annual skate competition is set for Saturday, May 16, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the skate park.

The free event is for all ages with online registration for competitors.

All skill levels are welcome.

Skater check-in starts at 6 pm. with competition starting at 7 p.m.

There will be vendors, food trucks, and DJ music.

The evening includes professional demonstrations, a chill out zone, product toss and professional judges.
