The annual holiday boutique held at Emeritus (formerly Merrill Gardens at 430 N. Union Road in Manteca) will be held Saturday, Dec. 7, from 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Featured will be nearly a dozen different vendors offering a variety of items that include handmade arts, crafts, and jewelry. Proceeds from the boutique will be donated to Chuck and Teri Palmer’s Operation Candy Cane which sends holiday goodies to American troops overseas. Emeritus has teamed up with the Palmers for an Operation Candy Cane to be held Sunday, Dec. 8, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the independent living facility.
