FRENCH CAMP – The annual pancake breakfast hosted by the French Camp-McKinley Fire District will be held Saturday, April 10, from 7 a.m. until noon at the fire station, 310 E. French Camp Road just across the street from the Post Office and the Good Shepherd Mission Church. The public is invited.

Proceeds from the breakfast will be used to assist the fire district with needed equipment to support district operations.

In the past few years, the Reserve Firefighter Organization has given the French Camp-McKinley Fire District approximately $19,400 for specialty equipment and other equipment to support the functions of the district. Everyone is welcome to this event and help support the organization.

On display during the breakfast event will be fire apparatus, fire prevention, and technical rescue displays. There will be a raffle as well for a lot of giveaway items.

Tickets can be purchased before the event by contacting personnel at the fire station. Tickets also will be sold at the door. For those who can’t stay and join the others for a sit-down breakfast, they can purchase TO-GO orders for take-out.

Tickets are $6 for adults, $4 for seniors and children under 12 years old. The menu will consist of eggs, sausage, juice, milk, coffee, and of course, pancakes.
