Actor from ‘Halloween’ appears this Sunday at Lodi Comic Con

Tony Moran as Halloween movie’s infamous character Michael Myers will be among the special guests at the Sunday, Oct. 2, Lodi Comic Con.

October is the season of Halloween.

Appropriately, the eighth annual Lodi Comic Con will feature one of the main characters of John Carpenter’s horror classic ‘Halloween.’

Tony Moran, who portrayed the infamous Michael Myers in the long-running movie franchise, will be at the Sunday, Oct. 2, event at the Lodi Grape Festival Grounds, 413 E. Lockeford St.

Lodi Comic Con is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Besides Michael Myers, Moran has also appeared in popular 1970s-1980s TV shows such as Chips, The Waltons, and James at 15.

But he’s best known for his iconic Halloween character.

The one-day pop culture event will include special guests Scott Steiner (WCW, WWE Hall of Fame), Neil Kaplan (Voltron, Starcraft 2, Spider-man 3), Alejandra Reynoso (Castlevania), Aaron Roberts (My Hero Academia, Tokyo Ghoul), Todd Haberkorn (Pokemon, Fullmetal Alchemist, Ben 10), Josh Keaton (Hercules, Voltron, Justice League), Lisa Loring (Addams Family), Keith Robinson (Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue), and Edan Gross (Child’s Play, voice of the Good Guy Doll a.k.a. Chucky).

Manteca High product Ramon Villalobos (What If? Young Avengers) leads the list of comic book and animation creators.

He’ll be joined by Kenneth Rocafort (Superman, Red Hood and the Outlaws), Scott Koblish (Deadpool, Spider-man), and Alex Sheikman (Dark Crystal).

Lodi Comic Con will again feature over 40,000 square feet consisting of more than 200 booths of exhibitors and vendors.

Cost is $10 at the gate and $5 via pre-sale. Children age 11 and under will be admitted free with a paid adult.
