Bike for Kids giveaway set Saturday at Paulsen Ranch

Pete Paulsen, founder and organizer of Bike For Kids, will be hosting the free Christmas Day Weekend Giveaway this Saturday at his French Camp ranch located at 1504 W. Bowman Rd., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Santa Claus is coming to the Paulsen Ranch on Saturday.

So are The Grinch and other characters for the annual Bike For Kids’ Christmas Day Weekend Giveaway at the French Camp home on 1504 W. Bowman Rd.

“We will be handing out bicycles to children in need during our Christmas Giveaway,” said Pete Paulsen, who is the founder and organizer of the free bicycle giveaway event scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Thus far, he has over 200 refurbished bikes ready to go – the limit is one bike per family in order to reach out to as many as people as possible.

Those attending this drive-thru special event can also enjoy hot chocolate and cookies along with photo opportunities with Santa, The Grinch, and others.

Several years ago, Paulsen started Bike For Kids after receiving a donation of used bikes from local businessman Vince Haro and others.
