Breakfast, parade, aerial fireworks set for Manteca on Fourth of July
fourth firefighter
The Manteca Fire Department traditional uses reserve firefighters to cool down kids — and the young at heart — at the end of the Fourth of July parade.

Manteca will have three ways to celebrate the Fourth of July as a community.

It starts with a breakfast and a parade in the morning and ends with aerial fireworks after nightfall.

The Manteca Rotary is bringing back the breakfast this year.

It will take place from 7 to 10 a.m. on July 4 at the Deaf Puppy Comedy Club, 127 N. Main St. just over a half a block from the parade route

Manteca is also celebrating “250 Years of Liberty” with the Sunrise Kiwanis’ Fourth of July parade.
It takes place Saturday, July 4, at 10 a.m. along Yosemite Avenue between Library Park and Garfield Avenue by Manteca High.

There is no entry fee for participants except for equestrian groups. The service club uses proceeds from its annual Pumpkin Fair in October to underwrite the parade and support various community endeavors.

The deadline for entries is June 29 at noon.

Entry forms can be accessed by going to the Sunrise Kiwanis Facebook parade.
There is no community Independence Day celebration event per se this year besides the parade.

There will be City of Manteca sponsored aerial fireworks.

They will be launched starting at 9:30 p.m. on the Fourth of July near the Big League Dreams sports complex.
