Cool fun awaits Saturday at Manteca’s Splash Pad Bash

Families can beat the forecasted 101-degree heat on Saturday, Aug. 1, during the free Splash Pad Bash followed by a Movie in the Park presentation.

The back-to-back events take place at Woodward Park.

Manteca Recreation & Community Services is showcasing the newest Woodward Park amenity with a Splash Pad Bash from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

The slash pad will be open in addition to other water play activities, a live DJ, food trucks and vendors, as well as character photo opportunities.

The celebration will be followed at 8:30 p.m. with the free showing of the “Smurfs” movie..

Attendees are encouraged to wear bathing suits and bring lawn chairs.
